Centrally located near several attractions including the New River State Park (10 minutes away), Mt. Jefferson State Park (2 minutes), the Appalachian Trail, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Ski several nearby slopes, golf the local links, canoe the rapids, or hike & bike the backcountry. Visit the Bluff Mountain Nature Preserve, hike the nearby Appalachian Trail, traverse the Virginia Creeper Trail, or check out the New River Zoo. For those with more indoor inclinations, tour the Ashe County Cheese Company, check out the Churches of the Frescoes, or browse the local downtown art district in West Jefferson, where you're sure to enjoy strolling the streets and visiting art galleries, quaint shops, and eateries. Don't forget the Mountain Music Jamboree every Saturday night, the "Christmas in July" festival, or tour the happenings in Boone, only 25 minutes away. So much to do, so little time! October 1 - October 31, daily rate = $150, weekly = $800. November 1 - December 31, daily rate = $125, weekly = $665. Longer stays are welcome and rates are negotiable.
